This project was a complete gut/remodel/renovation of a Greenwich Village townhouse owned by an interior designer, including many specialty finishes, meticulous detailing, custom features, and integration of found objects. We had a lot of fun collaborating with the owner to find many of the vintage objects like railings, mantels, and lighting fixtures. The house was written up in the New York Times which gave it two full pages in their Living Section (2005) with more color photos (12) than any project up until that time! The house was eventually sold and bought by a famous movie star.
